Valley can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against the Paden City Wildcats as the Valley Lumberjacks made off with a 19-10 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Valley also won the last time the pair played last Saturday.
For Paden City's part, Riley Blake made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Carlee Sweeney, who scored a run while getting on base in four of her seven plate appearances.
Valley's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12. As for Paden City, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
