Basketball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic lost to Wyatt back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Parrots were dealt a 42-13 defeat at the hands of the Chaparrals. The Parrots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tinashe Sims was Polytechnic's leading scorer, having posted six points. Lauren Watson held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Wyatt, they pushed their record up to 14-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Polytechnic will challenge rival North Side at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wyatt is set to take on their familiar foe South Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
