Volleyball Recap: Anderson Christian Takes a Loss

Anderson Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Temple Christian Academy Warriors, falling 3-0.

While Anderson Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17, 25-13.

Temple Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zoe Merritt, who had seven kills and two aces. Claire Owens was another key player, getting seven aces.

Anderson Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Temple Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson Christian will square off against Cambridge Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Temple Christian Academy, they will take on Tabernacle Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
