Sutherlin can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Siuslaw Vikings 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 5th.

Kellsie Engelstad was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was her first of the season. Morgan McKinney was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Sutherlin's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Siuslaw, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sutherlin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
