Volleyball Recap: Spackenkill's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games + How To Watch

If Spackenkill was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Onteora on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roosevelt Presidents on Friday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Presidents recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Spackenkill ultimately came up short, they really made Roosevelt work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-10, 16-25, 25-13, 26-24.

Having lost for the first time this season, Spackenkill fell to 7-1. As for Roosevelt, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4-1.

Spackenkill has already played their next contest (against Roosevelt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for the Presidents, they will square off against Kingston at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
