Soccer Recap: Camden County Takes a Loss

Camden County lost against First Flight back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bruins lost 9-0 to the Nighthawks. While losing is never fun, Camden County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 204th, while First Flight are ranked 50th).

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for First Flight, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Camden County will challenge Northeastern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northeastern will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for First Flight, they will take on Hertford County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. First Flight are facing Hertford County at the right time seeing as Hertford County are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
