Football Recap: South Anchorage Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Anchorage fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Bartlett on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 13-7 to the Golden Bears. The Wolverines have struggled against the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

South Anchorage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bartlett, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Anchorage will welcome Lathrop at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bartlett, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Juneau-Douglas at 2:00 p.m. on September 6.
