Meridian is 7-2 against Mt. Baker since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Meridian will head out to face off against Mt. Baker at 4:00 p.m. Meridian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Meridian and Lynden finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Mt. Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Ferndale. That's two games in a row now that Mt. Baker have lost by just one goal.

Meridian's draw makes their record 0-2-2 this season. As for Mt. Baker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Meridian's way against Mt. Baker in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Meridian made off with a 5-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Meridian since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
