Recap: Faith Christian Knights vs. Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders
The Faith Christian Knights were the 66-53 winner over the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Faith Christian fell just short of Jefferson Davis Academy by a score of 43-40. Faith Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson Davis Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nasir Void, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 21 rebounds. The contest was Void's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colson Loadholt, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
Faith Christian will head out on the road to face off against Colleton Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson Davis Academy and Clarendon Hall will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
