Volleyball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Rowan County Vikings, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Rowan County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fairview will face off against Bath County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rowan County, they will square off against Russell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
