Basketball Recap: Dublin Takes a Loss

Dublin lost against Early back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dublin Lions took a 37-19 bruising from the Early Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1097th, while the Longhorns are ranked 485th).

Dublin has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season. As for Early, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-13.

Dublin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Early, they will take on Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
