Softball Recap: Avalon Takes a Loss

Avalon fell victim to Kerens and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 19-0 to the Bobcats. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 19 runs.

Avalon dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kerens, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8-1 record this season.

Avalon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kerens, they will face off against Trinidad at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
