While Dibble's victory against Stratford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Demons had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 4-3. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Conner Vaquez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Dibble saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Eldredge, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Another was Noah Duarte, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Dibble's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 14-14. As for Stratford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-11.

Looking ahead, Dibble will host Wynnewood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Savages' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Demons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Stratford, they are taking a road trip to square off against Stroud at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
