Volleyball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Timberline Spartans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-14.

Highland's offense was headlined by Sheradyn Stamper and Emma Tefft, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Halle Beck and her eight assists. Finally, Kylee Beck kept Highland's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Timberline, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Highland has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Salmon River on the 11th. As for Timberline, they will head out on the road to square off against Deary at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
