Soccer Recap: Queen's Grant Comes Up Short

Queen's Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Christ the King Crusaders. If Queen's Grant were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to Christ the King when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Isaiah Ramirez and Juan Acosta scored both of Queen's Grant's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Queen's Grant's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Queen's Grant will take on Pine Lake Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christ the King, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
