Clarkdale managed to slip by Northeast Lauderdale the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Trojans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Clarkdale had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-20.

Clarkdale's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-20 record this season.

Clarkdale is taking a road trip to take on Enterprise at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they will face off against West Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
