After a string of 21 wins, Marist's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Roncalli Royals. The shutout was out of character for the RedHawks seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Marist's defeat dropped their record down to 28-2. As for Roncalli, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3.

Coming up, Marist will take on Libertyville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The RedHawks are on a 29-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Wildcats a seven-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for Roncalli, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Cathedral on the 10th.
