Softball Recap: Lebanon Trail Takes a Loss

While it was Lebanon Trail who put the first points on the board on Monday, it was Lone Star who put up more. The Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers came up short against the Lone Star Rangers, falling 13-5. The Trail Blazers haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kendall Dreary was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Valentina Quinones was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Even though they lost, Lebanon Trail kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Lebanon Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lone Star, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which lines up perfectly with their 4-1-1 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lebanon Trail will welcome Rockwall-Heath at 7:40 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lone Star, they will take on McKinney Boyd in a tournament on Thursday.
