North scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Lawrence Free State, 26-19. At the time, the Firebirds were ranked fourth in the state, while the Eagles were 49th.

North scaled the state rankings by moving to 21 from 49 this week, the biggest jump in Sunflower. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of topping Lawrence Free State 26-19.

Jason Randall provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Leavenworth defeated West.

Parker Evans made the biggest impact on defense this week as Olathe East defeated South. He forced 1 fumble and recorded 1 fumble.

Randall was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 188 yards as the PIONEERS bested the Falcons. Teammate Isaiah Ross added to the ground attack by rushing for 91 yards.

The leading receiver in the league this season is Andre Maloney. The West star has 11 catches for 290 yards.

The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Robert Lisher's team and East. The Firebirds comes into the matchup ranked 13th in the state, while the Lancers ranks sixth.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Lawrence Free State takes on East. The Firebirds have allowed 76 points this season, while Chip Sherman's team has given up 68. Lawrence Free State allowed 26 points last week as it lost to North.

The Lancers extended the longest winning streak in Sunflower this week by beating South, 27-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for East.
