Basketball Game Preview: Bristol Central Rams vs. Bloomfield Warhawks

The Bristol Central Rams will head out to take on the Bloomfield Warhawks at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Bristol Central is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Bristol Central came up short against Weaver and fell 50-39.

Meanwhile, Bloomfield lost to Farmington on the road by a 56-41 margin on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warhawks came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the River Hawks are ranked 114th).

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Bristol Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Bristol Central couldn't quite get it done against Bloomfield in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 as they fell 78-68. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
