Soccer Recap: Tatnall Takes a Loss

If Tatnall was riding high fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Glasgow on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets came up short against the Sanford Warriors on Thursday, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Sanford this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-2 defeat on April 1st.

Tatnall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sanford, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tatnall is set to take on their familiar foe Wilmington Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Sanford will face off against rival Tower Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
