Softball Recap: Oswego East Comes Up Short

Oswego hit Oswego East with a five-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves lost 9-3 to the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Oswego East saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lundin Cornelius, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Oswego East now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Oswego, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 2.2, the Trojans 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
