Hailey Whidden Game Report: vs Taylor

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Hailey Whidden stepped things up a notch to give DeLand the 'W'. Whidden was dialed in as she didn't allow a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Taylor back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Whidden has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.
