After a string of five wins, Cherokee's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 4-1 to the Kingsway Dragons. The match marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cherokee saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amanda Glucoft, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Allison Cunane also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Kingsway, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Coming up, Cherokee will head out to face off against Cherry Hill East at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Kingsway, they will host Williamstown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
