Meanwhile, East Central had to suffer through a rough 80-53 loss at the hands of Bishop Kelley. East Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Collinsville's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4. As for East Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-9.
Everything came up roses for Collinsville against East Central in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 75-45 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Collinsville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
