The Foothills Community Christian Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Heritage Christian Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Foothills Community Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Foothills Community Christian beat Petra Academy 26-19. The victory was just what Foothills Community Christian needed coming off of a 69-19 defeat in their prior match.
Foothills Community Christian relied on the efforts of Addison Teini, who scored ten points, and Kelcie Fulbright, who scored 11 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Teini has scored at least a third of Foothills Community Christian's points.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their fourth straight loss. They took a 30-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Petra Academy.
Foothills Community Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Foothills Community Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Heritage Christian in their previous meeting on January 5th, winning 38-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foothills Community Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
