Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Brookfield East

Brookfield East entered their tilt with West Allis Hale on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 88-73 victory over the West Allis Hale Huskies. While the Spartans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Brookfield East pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for West Allis Hale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookfield East and Marquette University will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Allis Hale will take on Germantown in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Germantown knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully West Allis Hale likes a good challenge.
