Volleyball Recap: T.W. Andrews Takes a Loss

T.W. Andrews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Montgomery Central Timberwolves. The Red Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Timberwolves earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

T.W. Andrews started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-9, 25-16, 25-16.

T.W. Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Montgomery Central, the win snapped their losing streak at 11 matches and leaves them with a 4-15 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. T.W. Andrews will square off against rival High Point Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Montgomery Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Central Davidson at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
