Preview: Portsmouth Abbey vs. Wilbraham & Monson Academy
Wilbraham & Monson Academy are packing up and hiking across state lines for their contest on Friday. They take on Portsmouth Abbey at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
Things haven't been easy for Wilbraham & Monson Academy, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to three. They ended up forfeiting their match against St. Paul's 0-1 last Saturday.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Portsmouth Abbey and Kents Hill School, but Portsmouth Abbey stepped up in the second half. Portsmouth Abbey came out on top against Kents Hill School by a score of 13-0. The success made it back-to-back wins for Portsmouth Abbey.
Portsmouth Abbey's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Wilbraham & Monson Academy's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Wilbraham & Monson Academy are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting matchup than their last) when the teams meet up.
