Baseball Recap: 11 Straight Road Victories for Salesianum

Salesianum faced Sanford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Sallies never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Sallies, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Salesianum pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Sanford, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-3.
