Basketball Recap: Natrona County Mustangs vs. Laramie Plainsmen
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Natrona County can now relate to. They fell 66-55 to the Laramie Plainsmen on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Plainsmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-46 back in December of 2024.
Laramie got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Max Alexander out in front who shot 64% from the field en route to 22 points. That's the most points Alexander has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gabe Sanchez, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 14 points and four steals.
