Preview: Hemingford Bobcats vs. Kimball Longhorns

The Hemingford Bobcats are on the road again on Friday and plays the Kimball Longhorns at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Hemingford comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-20, which was the final score in Hemingford's tilt against Morrill on Tuesday. Hemingford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-7.

Meanwhile, Kimball had to suffer through a rough 56-24 loss at the hands of Pine Bluffs. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kimball in their matchups with Pine Bluffs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Addy Olson was Kimball's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Faith Bohac held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Grace Moore took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Hemingford's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Kimball, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Hemingford ended up a good deal behind Kimball in their previous matchup on Friday, losing 35-20. Can Hemingford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
