Basketball Recap: Jackson County Comes Up Short

Jackson County lost against Cumberland County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jackson County Blue Devils fell to the Cumberland County Panthers 60-55.

Jackson County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Cumberland County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Jackson County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pearl-Cohn at 6:00 p.m. Jackson County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Pearl-Cohn likes a good challenge. As for Cumberland County, they will head out to square off against Metcalfe County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
