Basketball Recap: Francis Scott Key Takes a Loss

Francis Scott Key was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 53-51 to the Smithsburg Leopards, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-51 on Thursday.

Francis Scott Key's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Smithsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
