Softball Recap: Creekview Comes Up Short

Creekview lost against Royse City on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Creekview Mustangs fell 7-4 to the Royse City Bulldogs. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Kaelani Rogers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Creekview's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Royse City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekview will take on Highland Park at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Creekview is facing Highland Park at the right time seeing as Highland Park is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Royse City, they will face off against Rockwall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Royse City's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Rockwall's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
