Cherokee County was the 5-3 winner over Southside when they last played one another on April 5th, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Monday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cherokee County's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Southside, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-14.
