Dixon came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the White Oak Vikings on Tuesday as they made off with a 10-3 win. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Vikings last Saturday, they had to take a 7-6 loss.

Kailei Dawsey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Tina Feliciano was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Kaylie Moore was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Dixon's record now sits at 8-13. As for White Oak, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-11.

Coming up, Dixon will host Croatan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for White Oak, they will head out on the road to take on Richlands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
