Preview: Rolla vs. Central
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Central should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will challenge Rolla on the road at 7:00 PM. Central come in off of seven low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Central, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They were completely outmatched, falling 8-70 to West Plains. Central were down by 8-63 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Rolla took a serious blow against Camdenton last Friday, falling 13-56. Rolla were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-42.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
