Ashland has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mansfield Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Arrows will look to defend their home court against the Flames at 7:00 p.m. Mansfield Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ashland, who comes in off a win.

Ashland will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Lexington, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Arrows walked away with a 3-1 win over the Minutemen on Tuesday.

The victory didn't come easy: Lexington scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 16-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Mansfield Christian lost 3-0 to Northmor on Monday. The Flames have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Northmor scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-19.

Ashland's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Mansfield Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Ashland took their victory against Mansfield Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Arrows repeat their success, or do the Flames have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
