Baseball Recap: Sutton Takes a Loss

If Sutton was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Quaboag Regional last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Sutton came up short against the Millbury Woolies on Monday, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Sammies/Suzies in their meetings with the Woolies: they've now lost three in a row.

Sutton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sutton will venture away from home to take on Nipmuc Regional at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Millbury, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Uxbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Uxbridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Millbury surely won't give up without a fight.
