Baseball Recap: Crescent Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Crescent dropped their record down to 12-9 on Monday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins at home. They fell 6-2 to the Pendleton Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Pendleton, the victory got them back to even at 10-10. The win was a breath of fresh air for they as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

For Pendleton's part, Bradley Runion spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aedan Queen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Ayden Clay was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

While Crescent had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
