Football Recap: Tatnall Takes a Loss

Tatnall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Howard Wildcats and fell 48-0. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware football rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Wildcats are ranked fifth).

Tatnall's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Howard, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tatnall will take on St. Andrew's at 1:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Howard, they will face off against Tower Hill at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wildcats 7.5, the Hillers 13.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
