Volleyball Recap: South Loup Takes a Loss

South Loup was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the West Holt Huskies. If South Loup was looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to West Holt when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16.

Nyachay Haidle paced South Loup's offense, picking up four kills. Haidle got some help from Rae Hagler and her six assists.

South Loup's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for West Holt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.

South Loup didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Fullerton on the 11th. As for West Holt, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Centura on the 11th.
