Six must be Eagle Point's lucky number: they beat North Eugene with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Eagles didn't even let the Highlanders on the board, marking the Eagles' second-straight 6-0 shutout. Considering the Eagles have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Eagle Point pushed their record up to 15-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for North Eugene, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-13.

Eagle Point will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Highlanders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
