Basketball Game Preview: Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada vs. Clear Dot Charter Bats

The Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada will take on the Clear Dot Charter Bats in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Atlantic Collegiate Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.

Last Monday, Atlantic Collegiate Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Oceanside Collegiate Academy and fell 55-53. That's two games in a row now that the Armada have lost by exactly two points.

Jaylen Bellamy put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anton Daniels, who scored ten points.

Even though they lost, Atlantic Collegiate Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Clear Dot Charter sidestepped Military Magnet Academy for a 58-55 victory.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Clear Dot Charter, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
