Hanover-Horton's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Columbia Central Golden Eagles by a score of 52-39. This was a revenge game for the Comets: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles back in January, they had to take a 44-26 defeat.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gabrielle Gaydosh, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Shafer, who scored two points and six steals.

Hanover-Horton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Columbia Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Hanover-Horton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 42-33 victory against Homer on the 18th. As for Columbia Central, they have also already played their next game, a 51-48 win against Jonesville on the 18th.
