Baseball Game Preview: Bishop's Knights vs. Classical Academy Caimans

For the second straight game, Bishop will face off against Classical Academy. The Knights will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Caimans at 10:30 a.m.

On Thursday, Bishop's came up short against Classical Academy and fell 7-3.

For Classical Academy's part, Chaeton Revilla spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. Revilla also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Caimans are undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 7-8 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Timothy Gosselin was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Travis Perry was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Classical Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Bishop's has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
