Volleyball Recap: Providence Extends Winning Streak to Four

Providence came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the AGBU Titans by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Providence had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-13.

Providence's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for AGBU, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Providence will take on Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for AGBU, they will face off against Oakwood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
