Basketball Recap: Marshfield Takes a Loss

Marshfield suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Bolivar Liberators and fell 71-42. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bluejays came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Liberators are ranked 166th).

Marshfield's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Bolivar, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
