Recap: College Prep of America Thunder vs. Aqsa Legends
The College Prep of America Thunder lost against the Aqsa Legends back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. College Prep of America took a 40-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Aqsa. College Prep of America has struggled against Aqsa recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Thunder players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Fatima Iqbal, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds. Iqbal is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.
College Prep of America's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Aqsa, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
College Prep of America will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully College Prep of America focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Thursday. Aqsa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
